Gotta be number 2. Why strip her of her costume if he hasn't plans to do something sexual with her? A fly having sex with a spider now that's interesting. She gets pregnant and gives birth to a spiderfly. The birth could happen fast due to the mixed DNA of a spider & a fly. The plot could be that he chose her to be the mother of his child so that it has the mixed powers of both of them hence giving him a super child.
